Frequently asked questions
Can we port our existing numbers?
Yes, subject to carrier and country rules. Porting is scheduled with the losing carrier, temporary forwarding covers the window, and nothing is cancelled until the port completes.
What still needs engineering if the platform is hosted?
Numbering plan, routing logic, identity and MFA, device provisioning, local QoS and bandwidth, and the fallback plan for an internet outage.
What happens if our internet fails?
Calls fail over to mobile apps on cellular or to pre-configured forwarding rules. That behaviour is designed and tested rather than discovered during an outage.
